Schnaps
Your tasting at home
The original from HÖDL HOF is produced according to an old family recipe. Fresh hazelnuts are roasted and macerated with the best wheat grain alcohol. We leave the macerate to stand for a few weeks and only the “heart” of the distillate is used during distilling. It gets its indescribably stimulating taste by adding a mixture of natural extracts.
Tasting note: The Hazelnut Schnaps tastes like roasted hazelnuts and fine nougat. The Schnaps is pleasantly malty and nutty on the palate, with hints of vanilla and not too sweet It is particularly mild – a real "clear one", with a long playful finish.
