According to tradition, the green walnuts must be harvested on St John's Day (24 June) before they are chopped and macerated with a mixture of apple distillate and grain distillate. After a few months of maturing, the macerate is rounded off with fine herbs and grated walnuts. It brings relief after a sumptuous meal, or simply for the bitter nut pleasure in between.

Amultitude of herbs, blossoms, seeds and roots from our neighbouring and beautiful Joglland give this herbal speciality its unforgettably bitter taste. Macerated with distillates of gentian and rowan berry, this extraordinarily digestible bitter is created.
